Save The Date: Saturday - Monday May 25th - 27th - Southern New Mexico Wine Festival
La Esperanza Vineyard and Winery
A Little Bit of Wine with a Lot of Heart A Little bit of Tuscany in a Lot of Beautiful Mimbres...
At La Esperanza Vineyard and Winery we offer a little bit of wine with a lot of heart. David and Esperanza Gurule owners/vinters inherited the land and original structures from Esperanza's mother Antonia Orosco. The land was homesteaded by Antonia's father, Antonio DeLaO in 1906. With Antonia's blessing David and Esperanza started growing grapevines in 1998. Antonia's only request was that it be named after her only daughter, Esperanza. Esperanza means hope, to dream, to aspire.
Experience for yourself the living dream of making magical connections with family, friends, and community all through planting, harvesting, winemaking, and winetasting activities. All the while keeping Antonia's and Antonio's loving and radiant spirits alive. Maybe they are the reason for these magical connections.
Visit us soon and enjoy a picnic lunch with some Merlot (and maybe even meet Merlot the cat). Following lunch enjoy a stroll and let the Mimbreno Lizards be your tour guides.
